<p>If you can spare 30 minutes for a little exercise, 4 or 5 days a week, you will be amazed at how invigorated and sharper you feel, both physically and mentally! If you&#8217;re not used to any exercise at all, start with 15 minutes and work your way up. Don&#8217;t hurt yourself.</p>
<p>Some of the benefits of regular exercise include a more positive mindset, a confidence in your ability to achieve more, and a general feeling of energy and &#8220;wellness&#8221;.</p>
<p>I know, you haven&#8217;t got time today because you&#8217;ve got dinner to cook / you&#8217;re going out with friends / there&#8217;s my favorite TV show on tonight&#8230; So try it in the morning! It&#8217;s very easy to talk yourself out of making that initial effort and actually starting to get fitter, &#8220;tomorrow&#8221; turns into &#8220;next week&#8221;, which turns into &#8220;next month&#8221;, and so on until a year later it might be a forgotten resolution.</p>

<p>2. <strong>Try sports.</strong> Maybe a game of golf or tennis appeals to you, you don&#8217;t have to kill yourself, but the competition might make your exercise more interesting and provide some variety. There are clubs in most areas where you can get a game if you have nobody to go with, and you can make new friends too!</p>
<p>3. <strong>Discover Yoga.</strong> A wonderful exercise regime for body and mind! A few minutes of Yoga exercises can raise your spirits and set you up for the whole day&#8230; Or recharge your batteries after a long, hard day. How about talking in front of an audience, do you feel just a little nervous or are you running for shelter? Well, a little shyness seems perfectly normal and not spontaneously talking to strangers may just be considerate. So what does my innate preference to socialize have to do with my Health, if anything?</p>
<p>&#8220;Social Health&#8221; is one of the 6 constituents that amount to the &#8220;whole health&#8221;, or Holistic Health of a human being; and it has to be correlated in an assessment with the Physical-, Mental-, Emotional-, Spiritual- and Intellectual elements &#8211; when we want to forestall future loss of Health and Vitality, such as in Predictive and Preventive Health-care.</p>
<p>While the state of Physical Health is assessed and expressed by consensus by medical sciences, of what and how to include Biomarkers into a numerically normative standard &#8211; &#8220;Social Health&#8221; is ambiguous in terms and flatly ignored in contemporary Health assessments. It is noteworthy, however that the pharmaceutical industry is all but overlooking Social Health as revenue generator of significance. In order to prescribe medicine a disease condition must first be identified, thus we are now referring to &#8220;Social Anxiety Disorder&#8221;, and of course the &#8220;Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder&#8221; (ADHD).</p>
<p><strong>What is Social Anxiety Disorder?</strong></p>
<p>Social anxiety disorder is an anxiety disorder in which people fear social situations where they might be embarrassed or judged. When put in a social situation where they might become anxious sufferers have symptoms such as a racing heart, trembling, blushing or even sweating. This anxiety disorder is not uncommon by any stretch of the imagination &#8211; some sources say it affects more than five million Americans any given year. (Source: SocialAnxietyDisorder.net).</p>
<p>But that&#8217;s not the only &#8220;Social Pathology&#8221; that we know, there is Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Trichotilomania, various Phobias and others. Some common drugs that are typically prescribed in the Social Health arena are: Zoloft (Sertraline), Paxil (Paroxetine), Lexapro (Excitalopram Oxalate), BuSpar (Buspirone), Xanax (Aprazolam), Effexor FR (Venlafaxine), Adapin (Doxepin) and Prozac (Fluoxetine).</p>
<p><strong>Where do Depressions come from?</strong></p>
<p>Depression may come either as a cause or the result of a Social Health condition. A depressed person is typically not interested in socializing, but that doesn&#8217;t mean a non-gregarious person is also depressed. Depression is also a common Drug side effect; for example the stimulant drugs prescribed for abating ADHD, such as Ritalin, Adderall, and Dexedrine can cause depression, in addition stimulant medication are well known to lead to nervous tics, hallucinations, and bizarre behavior &#8211; which seems to run counter to remediation of Social.Health.</p>
<p><strong>Social Competence and Skills</strong></p>
<p>We consider Social Competence to be the antonym of Social Anxiety: a person that is not afraid of meeting with strangers and impromptu interactions with others. An individual having the ability to adapt to a specific audience and influence it to act according to his or her will, can certainly be described as socially competent. Social skills can be learned from early childhood, but should be exercised throughout adult life (for example: Toastmasters.org). Social competence is an elusive concept however, when we try to define it within the individuals whole Health or Vitality. How is it measured and weighed against the highly intertwined Spiritual-, Emotional-, and Mental Health elements? Even if we could assess Social Health on its own, we would have to agree on some numerical normative standard, such as we use for cholesterol and blood pressure.</p>
<p>However vague the concept and the absence of a scientific paradigm and benchmark, it seems obvious that a &#8220;totally healthy individual&#8221; is also a socially competent person; while a socially phobic person is not completely healthy, even though the condition may be fixed with simple lifestyle adjustments such as balanced nutrition. Social competence and skills are not delivered or restored by any drugs, this is evidenced by the fact that none of the prescription drugs is known to cure the condition, they just depress the symptoms. The best therapy and enrichment in life may come from training and practicing social skills, interacting with Others positively impacts the Spiritual-, Emotional- and Mental Health elements and ultimately prevents the Body from developing disease symptoms.</p>

If you&#8217;re not used to any exercise at all, start with 15 minutes and work your way up. Don&#8217;t hurt yourself.Some of the benefits of regular exercise include a more positive mindset, a confidence in your ability to achieve more, and a general feeling of energy and &#8220;wellness&#8221;.I know, you haven&#8217;t got time today because you&#8217;ve got dinner to cook / you&#8217;re going out with friends / there&#8217;s my favorite TV show on tonight&#8230; So try it in the morning! <p>The words health care might invoke images of doctors, nurses and hospitals, but the reality is that the medical field is a business and a ruthless one at that. Individual practitioners, researchers and participants may have wonderful intentions and a true desire to help people, but the structure of the American health care system ensures profit is the number one issue of importance.</p>
<p>Here are some facts that may help explain the high costs of American health care:</p>
<p>Pharmaceutical research and development companies spend roughly $20 billion each year on R&#038;D, and about the same amount on advertising and self-promotional marketing activities.</p>
<p>There is sure to be a grin on your face once you get to read this article on health insurance. This is because you are sure to realize that all this matter is so obvious, you wonder how come you never got to know about it!</p>
<p>Additionally, drug companies have as many sales people as there are doctors in the United States. One of the responsibilities of this sales force is to convince doctors to attend pharmaceutical company-sponsored seminars where drugs are showcased.</p>
<p>According to some economists, the purchase of new technology is responsible for more than 50 percent of new health care spending over the last three years.</p>

<p>Comparatively, Canada invests around 10 percent of its GDP on its public health care program. Unlike the United States, Canada’s health care program is universally available to all citizens and permanent residents without cost. Other countries, such as Germany, where there is a public/private delivery system model for health care, manage to serve their populations for even less while still having better longevity than Americans. This proves that the quality of health care does not rise proportionally with the amount of money spent to attain it. </p>
<p>While many Canadians supplement their universal health care with added insurance to cover the cost of medication and perks such as semi-private or private hospital rooms, health care insurance is much more essential in the United States. Unfortunately, costs have been rising dramatically, making health care insurance out of reach for many Americans. Currently, more than forty million Americans do not receive any kind of health care benefit.</p>
<p>Developing a vision on health insurance, we saw the need of providing some enlightenment in health insurance for others to learn more about health insurance.</p>
<p>For employers, providing health care insurance for employees is also becoming more expensive, with increases dramatically outpacing inflation rates. Some years, the difference is four or six fold. <p>Examine to ways to control drug advertising to consumers. There is speculation that advertising has led to prescriptions of non-necessary drugs.</p>
<p>Limit malpractice liability so doctors and medical professionals do not feel pressured to cover themselves by ordering unnecessary tests to substantiate conditions they already know to be present.</p>

You must be realistic <br/><br/>Most people’s long-term weight loss plans are more ambitious than they have to be. For example, if you weigh 170 pounds and your long-term plan is to weigh 120, even if you have not weighed 120 since you were 16 and now you are 45 that is not a realistic weight loss goal. <br/><br/>Your body mass index or BMI is a good indicator of whether or not you need to shed of pounds.
